              Rules of Netiquite

What is Netiquette?

Simply stated, it's network etiquette -- that is, the etiquette of cyberspace. And "netiquette" means " The practices and forms prescribed by social convention or by authority." In other words, Netiquette is a set of rules for behaving properly online.

Remember The Golden Rule:

Do unto others as you'd have others do unto you. Imagine how you'd feel if you were in the other person's shoes Keep your posts respectful of others. Every person in this community is a fellow human being who like yourself, have feelings. Keeping in mind that there is another person on the receiving end of a given post will often solve most problems before they start.

Flaming

"Flaming" is what people do when they express a strongly held opinion without holding back any emotion. Attacking people on a personal level, name calling, nasty comments, making fun of other people are all considered flaming. Flaming will not be tolerated. Don't be confrontational for the sake of confrontation.

Remember though, if you post a question or comment, be prepared to get replies you might not agree with. Don’t reply with a flame, we all have our own points of view.

Don’t bring problems from one forum to another. Posts that copy or direct members to other members threads, so it can be discussed negatively, will be locked or deleted.

Offensive language

No profane, abusive or offensive language will be tolerated.

Copyrighted Material

Don’t post entire articles. Instead, post a link to the article or point to the web site where it can be found.
